Our Process

AMB’s Mortgage Process from start to close

WEEK 1

  • Submit an application along with the requested documents to secure a loan approval
  • Upon qualifying, receive your “Prequalification Letter”
  • The loan rate is disclosed and can be locked at any point during the process
  • Your file is submitted to underwriting and your appraisal is ordered

WEEK 2

  • Our Underwriter issues a commitment letter conditional approval
  • Your Loan Officer will contact you as well as all applicable parties to satisfy the Underwriter's conditions
  • The appraisal has already arrived and a copy will be sent to you

WEEK 3

  • All conditions are usually gathered at this point and will be submitted back to the Underwriter to clear within 3-5 business days

WEEK 4

  • When your loan is cleared by underwriting it is moved to the closing department
  • Closing Department reviews and clears title
  • Your closing is then scheduled with all parties
